  • Cabbage Salad: Hard boil eggs, store overnight. Make dressing, store in jar overnight

Five hours before your meal

  • Chocolate Polenta Cake: Make and bake cake, cool to room temperature in cake tin

Four hours before your meal

  • Bread Sauce: Steep onion in milk, cool to room temperature
  • Beans with Mustard Dressing: Cook beans as directed, chill in ice water
  • Cabbage Salad: Shred cabbage
  • Berry Sauce: De-frost sauce to room temperature

Two hours before your meal

  • Turkey Breast: Roast as directed, baste once in a while

45 minutes before your meal

  • Bread Sauce: Make, keep warm
  • Roast Vegetable Gratin: Remove from fridge, re-heat in oven, still covered in foil
  • Chocolate Polenta Cake: Turn out onto platter, set aside until you are ready to serve it. Pour sauce into serving jug.

15 minutes before your meal
